Should I buy The Critical Reader by Erica L. Meltzer?

Hi everyone! So I am taking the SAT in two months and the only section I am struggling in is Reading. I was thinking to buy the Critical Reader because many people tell me its good. Do you think I should buy it? How long do you think it will take me to finish the whole book if I work on the book for about 1-2 hours a day. So is the Critical Reader worth it to buy when I have 2 months left?

Yes, it is a great book, but it depends how you will work with it. Some students can increase others might not. She is a great author and I highly recommend her books. Hope you can apply all of her book to increase your score on CR. Good Luck!!

Mmm, it depends. I think that Reading 2 or 3 hours in a month would be enough but you need to apply all the tricks that she gives on her book.

is 2 months enough to get used to her tricks and apply them? I’m trying to finish the book in a month and then the other month apply her tricks. is this possible? @Jr12317‌

Like a month. Try it. But you need to study the most you can. Applying all the concepts and Practice will make you better. Also are you failing on vocab?

I still have to work on it. I score about 550 range on Reading so I am trying to make it a 650-700 in 2 months. @jr12

Which sc questions do you get wrong hard, medium,easy?

The ones that usually have two words per question, so I guess medium/ hard? Any vocabulary book preferences? I am not really worried about memorizing vocabulary which I can do. I ordered the Critical Reader. I just wanted to know how should I use the book because I am trying to finish it in a month. @Jr12317

I didn’t use the the vocab from critical reader because I bought the direct hits which is highly recommended. @ZanZan‌
