Should I call admissions?

Hi everyone

My MSU admission status page says everything was in 10/3 and nothing is missing, but it still says "your app is being processed...". Should I be worried? Lots of people I've talked to at school who applied got in early, even though they applied later than me (one girl applied 10/13, got a letter in like 17-18 days). I've looked around through these forums and still it seems like everyone is getting in already.

I have a 3.4 gpa, 33 ACT, decent ECs, good essay, rigorous courses, upward trend...I know my 3.4 is low so I'm not at the top of the list for being reviewed but it's been 6 weeks now which seems really long. Should I just wait for the 8-12 weeks their site says (ugh) or call/email admissions?

Thanks

That's what it said for me last year too. It took a girl who applied 1 week before me only 10 days to get her decision while it took me all of 3 months. I had a 3.9 GPA and 26 ACT.

You should get yours sometime before Christmas. Also, I'm 99% sure you'll get in.

Wow 10 days, that probably gave he alot of relief during senior year.

Thanks for the reply

lol by 3 months I probably would have had the admissions office on speed dial. For most things I'm relatively patient but waiting for colleges is kind of nerve racking.
I talked to a few more people at school today with gpa's near mine, they don't have a decision yet either. If I don't know by Christmas I'll call them I guess.
Thanks again
