UMICH received everything by 12/10.
AND IM STILL WAITING FOR THEM
WHAT THE EFF MAN...

WHAT THE H3LL...
SHOULD I CALL THEM OR WHAT...
WHY CAN"T THEY JUST REJECT ALL PPL WHO ARE UNDERSTATS, AND SEND OUT ACCEPTANCE LETTERS IN WAVES.

THIS IS HELL...

calm down ive been waiting longer than you.

No I wouldn’t call them, it can be a long process.

Go ahead, call them. I don’t know if it will help though (certainly wouldn’t hurt). You can try to ask for your admission counselor’s name and then ask the admissions counselor which stage your application is in.

Michigan receives A LOT of applications. I know someone who applied last year right around when you applied and got their decision on the 2nd week of April. In fact, I know many people who applied last year AFTER the Early Response and just about all of them received their decisions on the 2nd week of April. There were a few people, however, that had applied after the Early Response and had before April. I was not one of them. So believe me, you are not the only one. Prospective students reading this: DO THE EARLY RESPONSE OPTION!!!

Once you apply after November 1, Michigan becomes like any other university and does not necessarily reply until April 1. Some get responses within 3 weeks, others can wait up to 5 months (those who apply on November 2nd sometimes wait until April) to hear back from Michigan. There is no way of predicting how or what will happen.

But I agree with WolverineMan; call the admissions office and check on the status on your application. Showing interest is never a bad thing.

idk if it makes a difference for in state and OOS, i applied the first week of jan and heard back in 1 month. didn’t expect to get in either b/c i dont have amazing stats like other CCers. but maybe they liked OOS? hang in there :(

It wouldn’t be bad to call them, but definitely don’t sound desperate and freaked, lol. Just call and show your curiosity very calmly. ^^
