Should I call?

I have not yet received a decision. I am in transition between two homes and in the meantime all of my mail is being forwarded, which adds another week to the process. Judging by how late some people are hearing from NYU it could be another week before I hear from them. In which case, I may be out of town. Would it be a good idea to just call and ask them for my decision?

Thank you!

What would happen if you called- you could get your answer or not get your answer...

This is going to sound like a mom, but why would you NOT call after all this time? They won't be mad.

Definitely call. They're going to try to send you around in circles, so whomever you're talking to, ask them for their name and tell them that they'll be held personally accountable for any information that they're giving you. It's the only way to get things done.
