Hey everyone I was wondering whether I should cancel my scheduled college interviews with other schools after being accepted ED because I don't really see a point in going to the interview because I am bound to Columbia. Is this what I'm supposed to do or should I just go to the interview and scrub around?

Yes, assuming that you’re not declining Columbia’s offer for financial reasons, then you should withdraw your applications from other schools and cancel your interviews.

youre supposed to withdraw everything and like have no contact with other schools bc you are now bound. play it safe and cancel/withdraw everything

If I was interviewing some kid for RD and he told me he got into some other school ED, I’d probably throw a sh–storm and contact the other school (or suggest to Columbia that they do so).

What should the withdrawal emails say exactly?

thank you for contacting me, i have been admitted to another institution for early decision and I am withdrawing my application to (school name) and would like to cancel my interview.

(maybe something else about how you appreciate their time and effort for contacting you).
