Hey guys I need some advice:

my previous SAT superscore is a 2220: 800m 660cr 760w --> you can clearly see my problem is cr

i took the sats for a third time yesterday in hopes of raising my cr (i actually studied this time) but it seems it didn't go as well as I would have hope -- i think I'm looking at about the same score if not like 10 or 20 points higher. I made 3 stupid mistakes in math so that won't be a great score and writing I'm not really sure about although I think I did well. My top choices are MIT, Princeton, Penn, and Cornell, so I'm thinking these scores are basically just a waste to keep and/or send anywhere since it doesn't really show any improvement.

If I do decide to cancel, do you think it will be worth it to try again one more time in December? I've been doing really well on most of my practice tests (700-770) I just bombed the vocab yesterday. I have really strong ecs, essays, and recommendations, but do you think that will be enough for the schools I'm looking at? Or should I try again to get the scores to what they probably should be for these schools?

Thanks

Post your GPA and EC. I will be able to determine then.

my school does GPAs kind of strange it’s on a 5.5 scale so it won’t make much sense but in short I’ve gotten A+s in every class throughout highschool besides 3 and I’ve taken all of the hardest classes available (I’m currently in 5 AP classes)

as far as ECs
I’ve been playing piano since I was 4 and have done a lot with it as far as accompanying my school choir, church, orchestra, and other outside things
I also sing and lead a select choral group in my school, and sing and act in the school plays
I’ve played soccer and tennis for the school every year
school clubs: NHS, physics club, chem club, science league, peer tutoring, as well as a few other school community service related clubs
I created an android app if that counts for anything

and one of my recs is from an MIT alum who was my research mentor at a summer program

How many B and Cs did you have?

ohh sorry none the other 3 were just A’s

You have 3 chances for your SAT. If this was your 2nd time, then keep the score. And take another in December if you’d like as your 3rd try. Your GPA/EC looks very solid so good luck!
