I thoght I did bad in bio and math... should I cancel?

Hm... describe your situation, like your grade, what SAT 2's you have taken, how "bad" do you think you did, and what tier of colleges you're looking to apply, etc. In general, I think there is no harm in cancelling and then retaking it after some hard work and preparation the next time around. However, personally, I almost made a mistake in my freshmen year and almost cancelled my SAT 2 Biology, because after the test, I realized I had at least like 7 questions wrong. However, my fax machine messed up, and I ended up doing pretty well =)

your score?

I'm in 10th grade

I ended up getting a 790 on biology-m, so I probably guessed everything else on the test right =)

Edit: Actually, I guess you are asking what you meant about me saying "your score". Well, I wanted you to approximate what score you felt you got. If it is in the 600s, then perhaps you should just keep it and then retake it. However, if you get in the 500s, maybe you could consider cancelling, since a 500 score on your record for this SAT 2 may not look to appealing, although if you have 2 or 3 better scores, then it's really not a big factor.

well I skipped questions like trisomy and linked genes that PR never had, and rushed through experimental questions and skipped some of those, and the flower (dicto, monocot) was pretty bad...

wait if you want to cancel dont you need a form that you get before leaving the test center?...or is there another way to cancel cause i want to cancel my us sat ii

You can cancel through fax or email but you better do it by this Wednesday.

how do i cancel through fax/email?...what do i have to send in?

How do you feel about the math?
If you didn't do as well either, then just cancel.
There's no need for a bad score, you have so much time to prepare.
For biology, just read the Barrons book, it covers everything, literally, and the test will be really easy to you after covering Barrons.

To cancel, you have to send a single sheet with your name, the tests you want to cancel, date, registration center number and address, and send it to Collegeboard, whose mailing address is located on their site. fax it asap.

How much is a fax? And Should I cancel too? I Horrible horrible on Chem and World His.... Best to cancel right?

bump..................

Also, if colleges see like a 270 and you got a 780 on the next time? Does that mean it makes you unique because they see an improvement or what???

No kid, it means you were sleeping through the first time. This would always be a negative thing. The scenario you mentioned is one of the only cases where previous lower scores could hurt you (b/c they are so dramatic).

I should Cancel???? It's wednesday? Can I fax on a Wednesday?

no don't cancel.....ten bucks says your "horrible" is over 700

lol no.... I did H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E..... >.<'' I don't think I can go out in this rain and fax something at this time... I guess it's too late to make up my mind. I hope Colleges like NYU don't mind.

lol, no college minds as long as you do better next time

and if it's that drastic, you could take the ACT so you don't have to show SAT IIs to colleges that don't require them......after sat., i though i bombed the IIC, so i took UChicago off the list of places to send the scores, b/c i got a 35 on the ACT and U of C doesn't request SAT IIs
