If my common app essay was about the solace i find in nature, would Chicago admissions wonder why i'm applying to a school in the city? It's a good essay, i think, but i feel like they'll say this kid isnt a good fit for our school. I like the outdoors, but i don't need to be in the Swiss Alps to feel at peace. Even a walk in the park is enough for me. I hint at this, but don't say it explicitly. Should i make this point clear? I'am also applying to Columbia. Might they also have the same reservations about my personal statement?

i wrote about a similar topic and got into chicago and got deferred from columbia, so i dont think it really matters

k thanks (10 char.)
