Should I change my intended major?

I'm applying to florida state university and i was deferred as pre-pharm being my intended major. I now changed my intended major to business, NFA (or finance), and i'm worried that it will be too competitive and i won't get in. should i change my intended major to something less popular or does it not matter?

and if you're feeling really generous you can chance me also!

bump yeah.

ye boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Um…I’m not an expert but…shouldn’t you just go for what you WANT to do and not what’s “less competitive”?

You may be hurt in the long run since you did not show consistancy with what you wanted, despite being deferred.

Do you plan on switching over once you get admitted? If you plan on staying, willing to do the less satisfactory major, its up to you but I doubt you would really want to give up your passions and satisfaction for a easier way in. If you plan to apply for the major to get your foot in, than you will just waste your money for a year or semester taking the classes in that major.
