I was wondering whether I should change my classes, will it make a big difference on my transcript?

I really would appreciate any help whatsoever… im getting very nervous about applications.
I want to ensure the best results for myself

um…maybe you should provide us ur schedule for next year.

The classes I am referring would be, I decided to take satistics instead of calculus. should i change to calculus?

I also chose Bio 2, would physics be more impressive?

Im not quite sure what to do!

I am also supposed to be taking spanish next year, should i also change that to a more rigorous academic class?

I really would appreciate some advice from anybody…

Well if you haven’t been taking very challenging courses in your highschool years, and then shoot for a bunch of super hard classes senior year, colleges see what your doing. But, on the other hand, it could help out your overall GPA or class rank, which is very important for colleges as well.

thanks i will take that into consideration.

Also, if you took Spanish your previous years, it’s better to continue with a language class, preferably all four years in one language. Same with bio. If you took bio1, you should try AP bio, or something like that if you want to major in something bio-related. Physics you are HIGHLY recommended to take if you want to do something like engineering. But it really all depends on what classes you have been taking your previous years.

To my point of view, there is no reason for you to slack even though you are becoming a senior. You want to demonstrate you perseverance to your prospective colleges. I will become a senior as well in the fall of 2011; I decided to take all best classes my school can provide because I have wasted my freshman and sophomore years.

thanks, for the input, i think i am going to change my math class to challenge myself as best as i can before college.

I just hope my GPA doesn’t suffer as a result and colleges will appreciate the harder classes I chose.

They do. An AP class that you earned a B in looks much better than a regular class with an A.

Okay then I will change the Bio 2 to AP Bio, although I am still unsure about physics, it is extremely difficult class at my school…

would it look bad if i took CP physics?

Does anybody know what looks better, statistics or calculus?
OR maybe it matters what the major is… IDK lol (im very confused)

If you have intention to choose engineering as your major. I strongly recommend you to take calc. Otherwise you can take statistics.
