Should I change the subjects i'm taking?

I'm taking Math 2, Chemistry and Physics on 5 Dec. I find Chemistry not easy to cope and am considering to switch to Math 1 instead.

Do you think I should change Chemistry to Math 1?

If I should, what should I do to change it? Any fees or registration change on collegeboard?

Thanks =)

it depends, are you a senior? because math 2 and math 1 looks bad…math 1, itself looks bad. but if your a junior then take it, and you can always do chem later. if your a senior then i’d stick with it

no you just go there and take the test you wanna take. go to the collegeboard website, there are details i think

i’m a senior, currently applying for fall 2010 admissions.

I’d suggest do chem if you feel u can get atleast 700+. If all ur unis need only 2 SAT 2s then just drop chem if u want and stick with math 2 and physics. In my experience everyone i know scored higher in math 2 than math 1, and unis only take into account ur highest math score as one subject test, so it’s pointless taking both. Just stick with Physics and math, and if you’re ready enough, do chem.

i see. wow i’ve never heard of that before. thx for enlightening =D

nikeboy you said he can just drop chem. Is that allowed? If you signed up for 3 can you just drop 1 and take only 2? I’m asking because I’m thinking of doing that this Saturday.

you can take whichever exams you want. even if youve signed up for 1 you can do 3 you just get billed later
but if you dont take any youve paid for already, you dont get your money back. and it isnt registered that youve taken the test. so dw you wont get a ‘0’

^ thanks, that’s exactly what I was worried about
