Should I choose ASU or Purdue?

Here in AZ, ASU’s engineering school is well respected and a ton of companies in the greater Phoenix area hire new graduates from there. In the engineering world, employers care about what you can do, what you know…they won’t really care as much about whether or not you went to a ‘top ranked’ school.

It looks like you answered your question. If you can’t get the pricey loans to pay for Purdue, it’s not an option. All you can do is scratch it off the list and go to ASU. If you’re doing computers, prestige doesn’t matter anyway. Employers don’t care about rankings, they only care about what you can do, and that you have a strong work ethic,

I feel like this is an easy choice. ASU is much less expensive and you are guaranteed the major you want. Phoenix is a major airport so travel shouldn’t be that difficult (and you will be saving way more on tuition than you will be spending on plane tickets. Plus you have the added bonus of warm, sunny winters.
