I just got into Boston College off the waitlist. Should I go there and throw away a scholarship, honors program, and cross country/track team (I am on the roster) at University of San Diego? I have always wanted to go to BC but I am having a hard time turning away from USD now. It is closer to home, better weather, and less expensive as well…

I have to decide by tomorrow!! I guess my main concern…is BC worth it??

yes, and through looking at your past threads where you tell everyone who is choosing between bc and somewhere else to choose that somewhere else so that you could be granted a waitlist spot, i think it is clear that it is whatyou want to do

if you are financially capable and not sure your going to get homesick and want to come home.. go to BC. from what dhrbc said, it sounds like its been your dream so GO FOR IT!

I've seen your other threads and know you want to go to BC. Follow your heart (as cheesy as it sounds). It's quite an honor to make it off the waitlist, so if your heart is still in it, then go for it! I don't think you'll be sorry.

my decision is BC.. i wouldn't have to pay for school were i was at next year with awards/grants but, i think its an investment that will pay off... imo

I'm also up to almost 70 percent aid at BC so,.. i think i am going to be able to make this work. not sure how that looks but i would say go for it!
