Should i choose Brandeis?

<p>Hello, i am having a lot of trouble picking what college i want to attend :frowning:
I am torn between Brandeis, Lehigh, and Northeastern University. I want to study computer science…but not just computer science. I was accepted to the CS/Game design program at Northeastern, however NU is very “strict” with its course selection. They pretty much told me exactly what my 4 years would look like since they have so many required courses. Brandeis and Lehigh on the other hand give me way more freedom–they give me room to take random classes and explore what other subjects interest me. I really don’t want to be tied down by NU, however I love its location, student body, co-op, and pretty much everything else about it… Lehigh is kind of in the middle of nowhere and I heard that Brandeis has a really “awkward and quiet” social life. I am really torn and don’t know what to choose. PLEASE HELP!! </p>

<p>Sorry to see no one has responded to this. If you love the location of NU, but want more freedom in course selection, then why would you consider Lehigh over Brandeis? Sure, Brandeis is located in a suburb of Boston rather than in the city itself, but there is lots of opportunity to get into town – including school-run shuttles to both Cambridge and Boston. And there are inter-university social events that Brandeis students attend, should you find the social life on campus to be lacking.<br>
Could you perhaps talk to some current comp sci students who can comment both on the program and the social life?</p>

<p>After Brandeis embarrassed itself, after not allowing freedom of speech, after lying about its motivations, after the President of Brandeis lied, after hundreds of Anti-Israel emails are unearthed…I suggest you attend somewhere whose reputation is outstanding, not shameful.</p>
