Should I consider this?

I am a freshman in the Philippines and i am currently studying at possibly the best high school in my country right now ( rated 4 by the accrediting committee thingy which is the highest). however, i am thinking of transferring to one of the best international schools here which has the curriculum of the US or UK. the school im planning to go to has APs and/or IBs, which i heard is a big deal if i want to apply to top universities in USA, and i really WANT to apply to brown or columbia.

FYI---current school: Ateneo de Manila University-----school im planning to go to: International School, Manila(ISM)

the question is, if i transfer, will get a higher chance of getting in top universities in the world/USA?

bumpppppppp

BUMP plss BUMP

i say yes
cuz

 1. I’m guessing that the academic competition in Asian non-international school is fierce, and I don’t think American colleges will understand the environment very much
 2. The international school is probably designed to send students to USA.
 3. It’ll be easier for American colleges to know how good you are by looking at ur AP/IB

look at the matriculation for both schools-- which school’s graduates go on to more american colleges/universities. the international school seems to have a pretty good record http://www.ismanila.org/portal/alias__/lang__en/tabID__345/MId__1307/ModeID__0/PageID__197/DesktopDefault.aspx</a> I can’t find it on the other school’s site but maybe you can ask around.
