Should I consider transfering to OSU?

<p>I will be a freshman at Michigan state in the fall, and I was denied at Ohio State. I visited OSU and I loved the big city and I am considering transfering, any insight? I got 14k in grants and scholarships at Michigan State and money is a big issue. I will be considered in-state after my freshman year at Michigan State. Is OSU worth the extra money? How’s the aid? </p>

<p>Any tips how to get accepted next year? I had a 4.0 gpa, community service, extracurriculars, but a sucky ACT. </p>

<p>I would see how your first year at MSU plays out first and see if you like it there. You never know you may fall in love with it. As for trasfering next fall I believe it is easier to transfer in than get accepted straight out of high school. Just keep your gpa up your first year.</p>
