Should I consider transferring?

I am a sophomore at a mid-tier Ivy (Brown, Dartmouth, Columbia, or Penn), and am unsure of whether to try and change schools for junior year. While I have been doing very well academically here (have over 3.8 GPA) and am highly involved in extracurriculars, I have found that none of the majors satisfy my passion (communication) and dislike the social atmosphere. As a result, I find myself unhappy to go back at the end of winter break.

Is it worth it to transfer for junior year? I really would like to graduate in time! Would other colleges offer better jobs prospects in communication/entertainment?

I think most top-tier colleges deliver similar social atmospheres. The undergraduate body numbers over 3000 so you make your select group of friends (5-200 people) and either enjoy or loathe the party scene. A good majority of students want to party on the weekends. Wherever you go, the same story.

As for academics, go look up some good communication schools, blah blah blah.
