I'm about to be a sophomore in college and i just spent the last year taking mech engineering courses and they were brutal. I sucked at calculus and put a good amount of time into learning it. I hate chemistry and i haven't taken physics yet but I'm sure that's going to suck as well. The best grade I have for engineering is a computing class and i was wondering if it would be better for me to switch to computer science.

Did you take any actual MechE courses, or were they all the pre-reqs? Does the CS track not follow the same pre-reqs?

CS is a great degree and highly employable, just make sure you are not jumping ship because you are not yet acclimated to engineering life.
