Crew will not only keep you super fit and healthy, it could be your ticket into top colleges. Harvard crew guys are hot. ;)

I don’t think you have to crew in college, but success in crew, and showing commitment will also help your applications … You don’t have to be the national champion … be a team leader, stay in shape, enjoy!

bumping bumping bumping bumping

I say stick it out for another season, I’m in crew and at one point was deciding if I wanted to quit but I stuck with it and I’m glad that I didn’t quit. :)

AlwysSnnynNY, why are you happy that you didn’t quit?

Yes, please AlwysSnnynNY, tell us why you’re “glad you didn’t quit.”

Not everything you do should be focused on getting into a good college; stick with something you enjoy, just because!

it’s good that you’re thinking about your future, but in high school, when you have an opportunity to do something you’re good at and you like, why not continue?

Just to be a prick: like 15 kids in the US do rowing. I just looked it up and there are liek literally only 500 high school rowing programs in the US. And there are over 24000 high schools
Vs all the schools that have sports that don’t require rich white kids who have expensive equipment and lakes and rivers.

To be slightly helpful: “I want to focus my time on things that will help me in the future.”
getting into a good college and/or scholarship because of your rowing sounds like it fulfills that.
And if you quit you might regret it. Maybe try soemthing else at the same time, see how you liek it, then jump ship.

alright! I’ve decided. Another season of rowing here we come :D!!!
