Thank you for the information guys, I did add up my cumulative SAT wrong, it’s suppose to be 2290 not 2230. I disagree confidentialcoll, two people from my school graduated this year and went to Ivies with IB predicated scores that are similar to mine. One person went to Harvard for music with a predicated score of 38/45, another went to Yale economics with a 40/45 predicted. I agree that my academics aren’t spectacular but I’m at 7,7,6 for my HL courses which my counselor said is fine. I don’t want to overstretch myself with too many leadership roles either, I am already in student council and head of a physics club, universities wouldn’t want students that is head of more than 3 or 4 clubs but rather students that are dedicated and are really involved in their clubs. I agree that I should have taken more initiative with my sciences but I have more than taken a initiative with my music. I’ve gone to the nationals, got a diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and I had a chance to perform with the VSO, which was tough stuff to prepare and audition for.

do you just suck at arithmatic? 740+730+720 = 2190, I think this is what you mean your SAT score is.

And with regard to predicted scores, I’m not saying 40/45 is a cutoff, but getting in with below a 40/45 is much more difficult. 39/45 is below par, the rest of your application will have to be well above par for you to get in.

Ugh, I realize I did that again, no I’m just not very good at typing D:
