which one would be best for a freshmen still considering majors?
heres a link for fyre if u dont kno about it or something
Fyre - NIU - Housing & Dining

I don’t have first hand knowledge about these programs but I did go to the link and checked out both the FYRE and the Exploring Majors Housing. It seems as though the FYRE program is more of a program to help students transition into a college setting. The Exploring majors housing seems to be more directed towards giving undeclared students opportunities to try out and learn about different career paths.

If you feel that you need a more emotional/social support system to help transition you into the college setting, you might want to consider FYRE. If you feel that you need more direction in choosing your future academic path, you may want to consider Exploring Majors Housing.

My suggestion to you is to actually make a phone call to the admissions people and discuss this with them. They should be able to give you a better idea of what environment will be best for you. Talk with them. Ask questions. They’re job is to help you sort out these kinds of questions. Good luck.

ok thanks for the help anyone else have a suggestion?

any one else know anything
