Should I double major or minor in something?

I'm so confused as to what I want to do! I'm going to be freshman at SB in the fall, so I know have time to think about this stuff but still lol. I'm majoring in Econ as of now, but I don't know if I should double major in Poly Sci as well. I was thinking about minoring in French if I don't do a double major. So basically I'm asking for opinions on whether I should double major and if so, what would complement Econ well. Also, opinions on minoring in a foreign language or anything else for that matter would be great as well =)

thanks!

It certainly wouldn’t hurt to double major or minor and you’ll have more than enough units available to double and finish GEs. I thought pol s would be a good complement to econ, but once you get into upper division econ the theory aspect isn’t as practical. Anyway, if you’re fine with math I would suggest econ/math or econ and a math major/minor. I’m sure that would be more sought after. Good luck, and really do what you like
