Should I drop an AP class? (my senior year)

Hi guys, the class I am currently debating to drop is AP government/AP microecon.

our school has these two classes set up so that we go to AP gov 3 days in a row then we switch over to AP microecon for 3 days in a row.
* And the two grades are averaged together at the end of the school year. Meaning my grades for the class won't be complete till I finish the school year.

I am contemplating the drop because I am 85%-90% sure I will get a C in both classes, resulting in an averaged C.
But see now the problem is I will only have 2 AP classes, Lit and Chem. (No math this year cause our school only offers up to Calc AB and I did that last year.)
***gov/econ is mandatory at my school so i will be forced to take that class anyways

~ my stats are about 3.8 weighted 3.5 uw and a 2060 sat I, with what I consider a pretty good mix of EC (nothing over the top special though)

heres my current schedule
AP LIT
physio
AP chem
psychology/sociology
AP gov/econ (THIS IS THE CLASS I WANNA DROP)

Finally I think i might be able to explain in my college app essay that I have no passion in gov. and econ so thats why i dropped it. But what should I do?

****should I take the C in AP or the basically guaranteed A in regular?

*** I'm definately gonna get a job if i drop ap gov.

bump... any feed back?

so what did you end up doing? i’m in the exact (and i mean exact!!) situation right now. sorry i couldn’t be of any help 4 years ago…

An A in a regular course is better than a C in an AP course.
