Should I Drop AP Biology?

Here's the deal: Last semster we covered 9 chapters. This semester we have to cover 35 chapters. I am seriously considering dropping AP Biology because I know I am prepared so far. I remember nothing from last semester at all, and with 35 more chapters this semester, I am sure I will not pass the AP test, but we do have to take it. I feel like this class is just a waste of my time- I'd rather just take it in college. Everyone I've talked to (ncluding my parents) have said I should stick with it, but I just feel like nothing is getting accomplished. I don't know what to do. I think that dropping it would allow me to focus on my other AP and honors classes.

What would you do?

if you only learned 9 chapters in one semester, theres no way your class/teacher can fully prepare you for the exam. I say you either

1) Stick with it, self study (yes its hard but if you want the 5 you can do it)
2) drop it, self study (geuss you have less work but then its harder to push yourself to self study)

I guess I could stick with it and self study. But I’m worried about the extra work I’ll be doing in the class (add that to self-studying and it could be crazy): Notes, Tests, Labs, Quizzes, etc. But Dropping it now would be like wasting that whole first semester for nothing. It’s a hard choice.
