Should I drop AP Spanish Language for AP Bio?

I'm taking the following AP classes for next year:

Spanish
Calculus
Physics
Government
Literature

I plan on dropping Spanish for Biology while keeping Physics because I have never taken a physics before and also because I am interested in biology. I also hate Spanish and I am terrible at it even though I currently have an A right now in Spanish 4. The transition from Spanish 4H to AP Spanish in our school is huge because the 4 teacher is way too easy so I'm not sure if I can handle the jump considering my complete inability to speak and write Spanish.

The only thing that is holding me back is what my friend said about colleges looking down on students who drop foreign language classes. I'm pretty sure that's not entirely true but will it really make a difference in how colleges view me? And is switching this class a good idea?

anyone? I really don’t want to take AP spanish…

Drop Spanish language. Colleges appreciate more core AP’s over ‘elective’ AP’s

Your continuation in Spanish would impress colleges, even you going up to Spanish 4 shows an interest in the language, but they wouldn’t look away from you just because you don’t want to go further. Any AP would look just the same to college but AP Spanish would be a bit more challenging for you and I’d understand why you’d want to drop it (I’m currently taking Spanish 4 but i have an excellent teacher and i am understanding everything pretty well). Cheers!

Thanks for the replies. I do plan on dropping Spanish IF I can fit AP bio into my schedule.
