Well I am currently taking organic chemistry, adv calculus (3rd semester calculus, already took bc last year), biotechnology (rit course that is taught here), ap economics, ap literature english and senior math analysis.

I received a 75 for stats and I was wondering if I should drop the course (its possible),my other grades are allover90 and i'm ranked 4.

Tell me your opinions because i'm trying to not screw up for mid year grade reports for senior year. Also if I do drop statistics, am I taking enough classes to make upfor it?

I say keep the class. Dropping a class doesn’t really look too good, and AP Stats is pretty easy. What you need to do is just READ the textbook chapter the night before a test or quiz. Spend a good two hours reading and understanding everything in it. AP Stats doesn’t really require you practice out the problems.
It’s an easy AP. Stick it out :)

I would actually say drop the class. You are taking plenty of APs and if you drop it, I think that colleges don’t see that since it won’t be on your transcript (but you should ask your guidance counselor). A 75 would look bad even if it is an AP class because according to what I heard (from my guidance counselor), you should be getting at least a B or B- in the class. On the other hand, I took AP Stat too and although I did poorly in the beginning, I improve near the end and got a 4 on the AP exam. The problem is that I took AP stat in junior year so I had time to improve and show my progress while you only have the first half of senior year…
