Should I drop Italian senior year?

I have taken Italian every year in high school and I took IB Italian last year. I am going into senior year now and I am debating dropping Italian. It is not my strongest class and I don’t mesh well with the teacher. Does it look bad to colleges to only take 3 years of a language? I am also taking 4 other AP classes senior year.

Everything I’ve read/heard suggests that colleges, especially the competitive schools, do look for four years of the core classes: English, Math, Science, and a foreign language. I’d suggest you stick with it. (Probably not the advice you wanted to hear.) Good luck!

Okay and what about going into regents Italian instead of 2nd year of IB ?
