<p>I'm currently in Medical Skills (along with 3 other science classes, AP lit and AP calc). It's an elective usually for freshman/sophomores who want to be in the medical academy and get their CNA when they graduate. I'm mostly taking it because I thought I needed an elective and it sounded interesting.
However, it's going to bring my GPA down because it's my only non-advanced class, so even if I get an A it will only be weighted as 4.0 and my gpa is above that.
I want to drop it, but I'm not sure how that will look on applications? I'm applying ED so my applications with my current schedule are going in any day now, but I wouldn't be able to drop it for a couple of weeks. Would dropping something like that be a reason for colleges to think twice about my acceptance (if I were accepted)?
