Hi, I'm in second semester chemistry and it makes me miserable I have a C right now. I still have a week to drop the course before the deadline. However, this would bring me down to only 11 credits and I wouldn't technically be a full time student. How big a deal is that? Also, I'm applying as a transfer to some schools. Hw much would they care that I am only taking 11 credits? I'm still on track to graduate in 4 years.

A C is still plenty of time to bring it up. It would look better for the transfer schools if you stayed full time…

…im transferring so i know lol

Talk to the professor. Don’t drop until you discuss with the professor if there is a chance you can pass w a B or even an A.
Some professors will offer “extra credit” if you do some extra assignments or go above and beyond.
But it’s only worth dropping if you know you are going to fail with a D or F.
