Just a reminder. ED is binding. You’ll need to commit before knowing what financial aid you’ll get there, and you won’t be able to solicit other offers. Can you afford that?

Obviously higher scores would be better. Do you have a reason for thinking you can get them?

Your stats seem a little low, but that is not the big concern I see. You haven’t expressed a strong desire to BU, ED is binding, is it truly your first choice or are you applying to try and increase your chances?

If BU is your absolute first choice regardless of financial aid and you can afford that then I say do it because if you ED, since you are bound to that decision, they can offer you less financial aid than an applicant that is not bound to their decision. If you can’t take those stipulations then just do RD.

ED is binding, so you must attend if you are accepted unless you ask for financial aid, in which case the school will make an offer you can decline if it’s insufficient to support attendance. You must take it or leave it, with no chance to compare offers, so ED is appropriate only for your number one top choice, your dream school, when you want only to know if you can afford it.

Are you sure BU is your first choice? Then go for it. But if I were you, I wouldn’t do it because you seem like a strong candidate for BU even with regular decision. What if other great colleges accept you?
