Should I ED to Wharton or CAS?

Both a degree from wharton and an econ-math double major at CAS interest me, so I'm not sure where would be best to ED to.

GPA: 4.0(UW), ~4.7(W)
SAT: 2310 (790 M/740 CR)
SAT II: Math II(800), US(TBA), Bio(TBA)
Total APs by Sr year: Euro, Comp Sci A, US, Lit, Spanish Lang, Calc AB, Calc BC, Econ(macro+micro), Gov, Bio, Statistics

ECs:
-Track and Field (2 yrs)
-Cross Country (1 yr)
-Key Club (Membership Officer)
-Spanish Honor Society (Treasurer)
-NHS, along with several other random service clubs
-Library volunteer (but only started at end of Jr year)
-I might do summer at stanford to do multivar calc/linear algebra

-Ethnicity: Asian
-Income Bracket: <60,000
-Large Public High School

I don't really have any business related stuff on my app, but I doubt that would hurt me too much. My first choice is Penn, regardless, so getting into CAS would be awesome in it of itself to me, but what would my chance at wharton be ed?

With no previous business/leadership EC’s…Wharton might be a bit of a long shot (unless your essays are absolutely amazing).

K, so r my chances for CAS reasonable though for ED?

I think you would have more of a chance to get into CAS rather than Wharton if you ED’d. Unless you have a REALLY good reason to why you want to go to Wharton?

It would help your application if you did some extracurricular that is more “unique” or stands out. But I think you have a decent chance at CAS.

with those stats, i’d apply ED to a better school than penn… like harvard, williams, or your local community college

^Just don’t apply to Cornell

yeah you probably wouldn’t get in

EATYOURCEREAL obviously knows what he’s talking about considering Harvard no longer has an ED program.

Eatyourcereal… why don’t you seriously get a life? Maybe if you actually went to college you wouldn’t be so bitter

for wharton, your app is very very typical. high stats, asian, no significant leadership, large public school…i strongly advise you not to apply wharton ED. without an extra bump, such as attending an elite prep school, or legacy, you don’t have good chances.

Pffft, everything seems decent enough except for leadership. I’m an international asian at a public school, and I got in RD with lower stats.

^ there must be more to your story

“With no previous business/leadership EC’s…Wharton might be a bit of a long shot (unless your essays are absolutely amazing).”

False. My only “leadership” is really as ‘head photographer’ for our weekly school newspaper which, while is super time consuming, doesn’t exactly “look good”…and I got into Wharton.

Look at the curriculums and make your decision by that. Don’t try to game the system
