I've decided that instead of majoring in physics I want to major in engineering (environmental engineering specifically). On my applications I have physics listed as my intended major. Should I call to have them changed or not bother?

If you can make the change, yes. If you want engineering, you should be applying for it, There is no assurance at any college that you can transfer into engineering later if you are admitted for physics. After being admitted for physics, you could be subject to transfer rules (such as high minimum GPAs during first year of college) within the university that may make it difficult to make the change.

Yeah, that’s true. I’ll give the schools a call and see if I can edit it.
