Should I email the admissions office?

Recently, I submitted my application to apply in the honors program at one of my schools. Because of the way the common application works, I completely forgot that I didn’t finish my essay to apply to their honors program. I spent hours upon hours submitting my other writing supplements to Ivy Leagues that I was mentally exhausted when I was working on this other school. I submitted my application because I saw the green check marks, which made me assume I had finished everything. But I checked yesterday and noticed this nightmare. I haven’t been able to sleep at all. The schools deadline is in 2 weeks. Do you think I still have a chance to finish my essay and maybe email it to the admissions office. I want to email them today, but I have no idea what to say. Can someone please offer advice, I would feel so appreciative.

If the school’s deadline hasn’t passed, then you can still submit. No need to email admissions.

That’s what I thought. But the problem is that once you submit your application through the common application, you can’t alter it. So should I just type up my essay and submit it to their admissions office?

@ProfessorMom1 sorry I didn’t tag you but that is my response ^

I would contact the admissions office and ask if you could submit the essay and how to do it.

I didn’t realize the supplements were part of the original CA. Some of them are separate. In this situation I’d email them but be prepared for them to say you can’t change it. If there’s a portal, you may be able to just upload there.
