Can Speak Spanish and French Fluently
A lot of Community Service, 150+ hours, I volunteer and help kids learn Spanish and French.

I think you have a good chance, however, even good chances are about 7-8% at Harvard. But, you seem to have excellent community service, and leadership so that might tip you into the glorious "yes" pile. Keep it as a dream work hard on your essays, yet prepare for the worst (find nice safety schools).

yeah, definitely apply. Everyone has high standards here, but because you are an ethnic minority (not to be racist), I believe your chances are greatly increased.

yes! :-) harvard is my dream so i feel accomplished. i know that it's a school that has really random acceptances but i'm happy that i have a chance.

oh and azn4eyes00, it wasn't racist. i know what cha mean.

No matter how good your chances might be, I would say try to be less fixed on one school, just because of its name. There are so many good schools out there, and admissions is so random. Why is Harvard your "dream"? Would you "die" of happiness if you got into some other great school and went there? Just asking so that you can think about being a little more flexible about things.

thanks compmom. :-)
is there any more comments on my chances?
( my two DREAM schools are Columbia and Harvard. But I realize that both are reaches for anyone, but if you guys know something that will give my application flare, i would truly appreciate it. thanks!

you have great chances. of course you should apply. writing a good, personal, heart-felt essay will give your application flare. start working on it now.
