should I even apply?

i know you can never be sure with a college like princeton, but honestly, do i have a decent chance at admission? I know my SATs are pretty good, but I feel everything else in my app is pretty run-of-the-mill by Princeton's standards. feedback would be greatly appreciated =)

You really don't need to post this in every school's forum. A chances thread in the chances forum would do. That being said, you yourself said that you're like every other applicant- that gives you presumably the same chances as everyone else. :) We really can't say much else.

No chance as you cannot follow directions and put this post in the correct place. So I would say no way.

Yes, you should apply; no, I don't think that you will be admitted to Princeton simply because other than spectacular SAT I scores there is nothing compelling about your background or interests.

I don't think that your credentials are being presented properly. It is very important to show the true you. You do this in the essay that you will be writing.

You want to show passion and enthusiasm for something. This can be a particular extracular activity or some event that affected you.

The point is the essay is where you set yourself off from the others in the pack.

Good Luck...

^your community service may stand out...what did you do? You should apply.

Well...I can't really pass judgment on you because I don't know you really except by those numbers you posted, which tells us nothing about the real you.
But what I can tell you is that the girl who got accepted to Princeton this year from our school had the same gpa/ranking as you, more ap tests (though slightly less on the scores), slightly lower sats, probably more EC and leadership positions than you (she started this organization that raised $30,000 at our school). and the only reason she got in was because she was recruited for softball...so...you decide.

you can give it a shot, you are typical of the middle range of application pool, 45-5- chances

who the **** knows...really
