Should i even apply?

and that being said would williams and middlebury give the most opportunity to a URM

hawkmann, I’m not sure what you want everybody to tell you. We are not adcoms, and you can look on collegeboard.com to find your target schools. Your stats as they stand are low, even for a URM, for your reach schools. That doesn’t mean you won’t get in, just make sure you are realistic in your choices.

I don’t know what the “average URM” stats are at D’s school (your target school) but she had a 3.96 UW and a 33 ACT with good EC’s, and D is a URM (for reference.)

Don’t apply to schools based on their URM policy, as you were referring to Williams and Midd. That is silly. Go to a school where YOU will be happy and fulfilled.

Have you applied to any of of the Diversity programs that are generally held in the fall for the schools? They will fly you there, and you can get a much better feel than asking us on cc.

Sorry, just saw that op does have a 33 ACT. Why did you not post that in your first post?, lol. You have asked many things on this thread re schools, and in the end, please just apply to where you WANT to go. I, of course, would say rah rah Amherst, but is that the best for you? Only you can answer that.

Hawkman, did you even bother to read my post (#50)? I’m hurt. On behalf of all of these fine institutions, I reject you.

i just saw it i apologize, is my essay the way in which i am able to stand out

btw ive been looking all over the internet for that information, where did you find it KWU

also what does anyone think about how amherst compares to UNC or Michigan as well as if i have a shot out of state at eitherr
