should i even bother applying ed?

ok so i pretty much goofed up my freshman and sophomore years. im a rising junior btw. out of 4.0, i have about a 3.4-3.5 gpa. i have a few A's, mostly B's, and one C. i don't do any extracurriculars. i did rotc for a year, but quit. won't put that on college application. not athletic either. so lets say i get all A's my junior year, and do several EC's, do i have a shot at ED?

i wanna know if i have a chance, b/c if i don't, i wanna use my ED on a lesser college

edit: oh yeah, i have taken world history AP, but i got a 2 on the AP test...im gonna take bio AP next year. and im from tx, im east indian

What are your SAT/ACT scores? I think you might be better served applying somewhere else early.

I would agree. It is very difficult to get into Middlebury ED. A large percent of ED acceptances go to athletes, and the remainder are excellent students with very interesting extracurriculars. Since you seem to have done few ECs, I’m not sure you would be competitive in the ED pool.

Don’t forget Legacy students (another big part of the ED pool).
