Should I even bother applying for FA or Johnson Scholarship

I am an international student from Asian country currently living in Northern VA who will be applying to W&L this year.
W&L is one of my top choices.
I might do ED2 (if I don't get into my first choice) and I am wondering if it would be worth for me to apply to Johnson Scholarship Program.

I visited W&L campus, did a tour and an on-campus interview (went well). Then I also met the admission counselor (who was my interviewer) when she visited my school.

Now..
My GPA is about 3.3 unweighted, (the worrying part) and it has an upward trend.
My senior year GPA will be about 3.8 UW and 4.3~4 W
My rigor was marked "the most demanding" by my counselor.
I have 2170 SAT (600CR/790Math/780WR), 800 SAT Math 2, 114 TOEFL.
I will be retaking my SAT for last time next week.
I have solid, unique ECs (strongest part)with many leadership positions which clearly demonstrate my passion and international aspects.
I've also lived in 6 different countries.
I don't know too much about recs but they should be solid.

So anyway, should I even bother applying for Johnson scholarship and financial aid?
Although there is no problem with paying full-tuition, I'd like to save money for my parents

I know that most schools, applying for FA as an international student will significantly hurt chances of getting in. So I won't apply for FA if that's the case for W&L as well.

With deadline coming close, do people think that will it be worth for me to apply for the scholarship (i have to write an essay) although I have very slim chance of getting in and even slimmer chance for getting scholarship?

If any current students or alums can share their opinions, it would be very helpful.
