SUMMER PROGRAMS:
(am planning on going to Cornell's Summer College if accepted) or National Youth Leadership Conference in Healthcare & Medicine to learn more about healthcare

I'm also retaking my SAT's in the spring & the Subject tests another date, so hopefully, I'll raise my SATs && get good subject test scores...

You’ll never know if you don’t try…so, apply and see what happens! GL ;)

of COURSE you should apply. Also, don't stress too much about SATs between now and the spring. Your scores WILL go up, not that they're bad now. And keep your mind and options open.

I think you have a decent shot. The only thing holding you back, maybe, is SATs... maybe a little preparation will get you up in the 700s, which should put you in range. Your ECs look good, and if you have strong differentiating factors (ECs, maybe essays?) you'll be in good shape, I'm sure. Just don't put things like Who's Who. It's not a guarantee, but I would DEF apply.

it's good to get things done when you are a Junior...
i honestly wasted my whole junior year, doing nothing in school, and started to worry about my college stuff in late August...
so i think if you are well prepared and hard working... you can definetly get in some good schools, and Cornell might be one of them...
so do your best and just keep your grades up!!!
LUCK

Maybe take a SAT class(it helped me), even though your scores arent bad now. If you can, apply ED, it will increase your chances by a lot. I really regret not doing ED, it probly wouldve helped. Your gpa and ecs look pretty solid. Keep it up and good luck.

Work on something that will make you stand out, something eye-catching. As far as I understand they want more than the generic "I was the president of the ______ club, voluntereed ______ hours, took ____ AP/honors classes." Make sure you have something rare in your application, something that can distinguish you from the typical Ivy applicant.

ahhhh... thanks for your comments.

im actually thinking about not applying to cornell... I think i'd actually be happier at a couple of other colleges- not in the ''ivy league''--- i heard cornell has grade deflation && is really stressful...and i want to major in pre-med the way it is... so im actually thinknig of not applying now

thanks for your comments though. :)
