Cornell CALS~~~

Sadly, no, cause you probably will not have the all the materials with you anyways.
You need two teacher recommendations, and since you are probably on Winter Break, there is no way you can force your teachers to write one and send it for you.

…actually, i have two teacher recommendations already. and i also wrote an essay for CALS. but i just wanna know if i still should apply…i dont wanna pay the fee if i have no chance.

Have you told your school to send your transcript?

Jan 2 is the postmark deadline

Apply!

You definitely have a chance. You are an in-state top 10% applicant with a good essay and ECs.

If you can, try also taking the ACT in january.

For those of you who got accepted to CALS, do you think I have a chance?

Yes you should apply.

Also my counselor sent my forms out somewhere between the last week of January/first week of February (and I got in). They’re not strict with school forms, only the materials you turn in.

PS. I agree with chendrix take the January ACT and if you do well send it in.

There is ACT in Jan? The next one is in Feb I think?

yeah is there act in jan?

your ECs don’t really match for CALS. why not try out for CAS?

Dream2beCornell, you don’t even know what major in CALS he is applying to?

There is no such thing as an EC match for CALS and especially not for CAS.

I want to major in biology. Okay, I just applied 3 mins ago!
So, this thread is now a ‘‘chance’’ thread =]
