quick stats:
1170 SAT, 1820 total
rank: 18/500
2 varsity sports

do not do early action. it is application suicide for you. early action is for people at the top top of the applicant pool (to get a decision by christmas)

I personally recommend RD.

EA applicants are freaks.

Thanks for the love, ManUtd20Ole... But yeah, unless you can get those scores up, go for RD, not EA.

If you go to the ND admissions website, you can e-mail the admissions counselor from your area, or call the admissions office, share your basic stats, and they'll give you an idea of whether or not EA is a good idea for you...

Thats what I did.....

I would lean against it with those scores unless you get very strong encouragement from Admissions. My assessment is that EA is very test score driven. You have to show scores pretty high in the applicant pile. I would think scores equivalent to the 25% percentile of entering class or so.

Hmm...you go to Dartmouth (now), yet on another thread you said you just took the SAT in October. Is it just fun for you? Something doesn't add up...

oh i see

wow... if you are just going to make fun of people... just leave

honestly....noone respects your opinion....

This guy doesn't go to Dartmouth, and if he does as an alum I apologize in advance for his absolute lack of respect. I don't believe it for a second though...

Yeah I doubted it as well. A new member by the name of 'fag_patrol' with only 9 posts and he is already contradicting himself.

Troll, troll, troll your boat. :D

What am I missing here? Were posts deleted?

haha.. ya ddjones...
some guy/gal by the name of fag_patrol came in here and started making fun of the op........ and..... basically ya..

lol yeah i guess it looks a little weird now.

I like to talk to myself. :D

definitely go for regular decision. the admissions people at ND that i've met say to not go for early unless you have a 1440+ SAT (math&reading)

I agree not to go EA with a 1170, but am wondering how hard & fast the
1440+ thing is.

well one of my brother's friends applied ea 2 years ago with a 1400 and got in..didnt go... but 1440+ is a little high i think... but i dotn kno
