Should I even bother with it?

I'm a native Chinese speaker. Needless to say, I can read, speak, write, etc. perfectly. I'm almost positive I can get an 800 on the Chinese SAT II.

My question is -- is there even a point in taking it? I mean...I don't think I need a test to prove that I'm Chinese...

I have two subject test scores 700 bio, 730 us history already, and all of my schools only require two. I was going to take Spanish, but then realized that I suck at Spanish. Should I give up a Saturday morning for that test?

I think there is a point in taking it. You are proving to everyone that you are ABLE to fluently speak and write in the Chinese language. Thats the reason why they even have a test like that.

it's looked down upon if you take it even though you're a native speaker, but i'm still taking it.
