I'm not sure if this is the best place to put this, but I need some advice. I have to have a decision made by tomorrow. My school only offers one AP course (Literature and Composition) and I'm signed up for it. But now I'm doubting it and considering dropping. My situation is this: I'm loaded up on English credits and am still taking an extra class (Brit Lit)..mainly because I like the teacher. That already involves a lot of reading and I am a SLOW reader. My schedule is full, no study halls plus a college class. The only real advantage I see is the extra practice with college work. I would get 3 credit hours, so that would save me about $700. But I'm also looking at joining the Air Guard or doing ROTC during college and hoping for a scholarship. By the way the mentor for the AP class said since I scored above a 25 on the English section of the ACT I would skip the intro English course in college and the AP credit would then go as elective. Is this true? Any and all advice is appreciated! Thank you!

P.S. I'm not looking to go to any majorly competitive schools. I'm going to a state university.
