<p>I got my transcript and I have a poor gpa of 2.2 overall for 9th to 11th. I'm doing pretty well my senior year with 3 As, 1 B, and a C+. I have a 1760 on my SAT and waiting on my SAT II scores for November. Should I even bother applying to UCs? I feel it's a waste of money if I know I won't be able to get in. I was thinking of apply to UCR and UCSC.</p>
<p>It depends on your unique family situation.
If you don’t have a “good” one then just apply to a CSU
if you really want to go to a UC got to a Community college then transfer</p>
<p>You need to calculate your UC GPA, which just looks at 10th and 11th grades. There’s a minimum GPA you need to even apply, I believe it’s 3.0, but I’ve seen sone here say it’s still 2.8.</p>
