Should I even go?

Hi, I just turned 23, literally no money to put towards a college degree, not sure who would, or could help, frequently unemployed and I don’t know what to really do.
I have interest in all of the ‘useless’ majors and only them and a little coursework in game design.
I’m interested in Cinematography/Videography, Graphic Design, English, Video and Photo journalism, Wildlife, and English/Creative Writing. I think Medical Illustration is a very interesting field, as an artist with a head for science.

If I went to college though, and couldn’t get a job, I’d be buried in debt.
I don’t party, drink, ect. And I’m pretty dedicated/a self-learner. I just want the connections and community, that come with college, and a degree/most opportunites/best value for the money if I can go.
-I was thinking of trying to test out of some core classes with CLEP exams in whatever I choose then going to a university.
-Earning a Bachelors online for Graphic Design, or at least part, then transfer to campus [cheaper]
-Trying to save and going later, but I feel like I’m running ‘out of time’ or will be ‘out of my prime for college’ soon…
-Or not going and continuing to attempt to network myself and teach myself, but I haven’t had much luck so far with the former.
I’m the kind of person who doesn’t mind making a bit less money, if I still have the monetary freedom to live and explore.

Wow, that’s a lot to unpack. I usually don’t say this but I think you need to talk to a counselor who can help you clarify your decisions and choices. You have a lot to sort out.

I noticed a couple of things about your post - first you focus on a lot of “ifs”. A word of caution - sometimes so many thoughts of “if” keep us from making any decisions. That type of extreme worry and contemplation can keep one stuck and then nothing happens. Sometimes you just have to make a decision and go with it. Also, I’d like to add that you are never too old for an education. You are never running out of time.
