I know im early and much of this will change but as a junior i was wondering what you think my chances might be (i know im early!) I just want to know if i should even be looking here at all or if i might have a shot. I really like it!

gpa: 3.7 (this might be generous)
psat: (1900), (1270) WILL BE RAISING THESE!

id be out of state from massachusetts

Hsworrier, you are certainly living up to your name!
Everyone should look at W&M, its a beautiful school. You take many AP’s, and leadership is always a plus. Study to raise those SAT’s, and maybe try an EC that isn’t an honor society or school club? Make yourself stand out-- thats what they are looking for (in addition to good grades of course.) You have lots of time.
Good luck!

yes you have a shot
calm down
enjoy life

Hey,

Definitely consider William and Mary! If you can get those SAT scores above 2000 or a 31 or higher on your ACT, you will be very competitive for admission.

Try getting involved in a sport or a community service activity outside of your school.

I’m applying there this year and have similar stats to you but I have a 31 and participated in varsity sports and run a large social service group at my high school.

You have plenty of time man, just relax, keep up those great grades and you’ll get into plenty of schools.

I responded to your post on another thread on which you asked about your chances!
