I got into my first choice college ED today, which is fantastic news. However, I did take the November SAT because I knew there was a chance I would be rejected or deferred. Now that I'm in, is there a point in sending in the most recent scores once they become available? My initial scores were already around the 50th percentile or above the middle fifty percent, and I've been given a heavy scholarship. Would it be worth it for the college's own admissions statistics?

Which college

1.) Congrats.

2.) No do not send them in seeing that your current scores were good enough to get a scholarship. Considering that the SAT scores you took previously were the ones they used to admit you, that’s the data they’ll put in their admission statistics. However feel free to use your new score(if they’re higher) for outside scholarships.

If your new scores are higher, I would send them. Some schools use W or CR scores for freshman writing seminar placement and you never know what will happen with scholarships. This all varies tremendously by school, but no harm in sending as long as your scores increased.

I agreee with CT, but only if they are much higher. It may give you additional scholarship/class exemption.
