should i even try?

Hi. I was wondering if you could chance me at a few schools: Stanford, Berkeley, and UCLA. (I picked the stanford forum because it seems to be the most active). For Stanford, I mainly just want to know if I should even try, because I know my stats (mainly my ECs) aren't that good. For the other two, I actually want to be chanced though.

Also, any other school recommendations? I plan to major in either business, econ, or computer science (haven't decided yet), want to go to a big university, and am only willing to go out-of-state for a really good college like the Ivies, Northwestern, maybe Ann arbor etc.

GPA: 4.0 UW, 4.6 W
SAT: so far I have a 2210 (740R, 770W, 700M) which I got in my junior year but I plan on taking it again, hoping for around 2300.

School doesn't rank, but I know I'm in the top 1 percent.

Taking 8 APs in high school, gotten 5s on all of them so far.

Senior schedule:
AP English Lit
AP Calculus BC
AP Physics
AP Computer Science
Governent and Econ
Advanced Journalism

ECs:

spanish honor society 2 yrs (which includes tutoring every thurs. for a couple hours)

created own website to display and sell my photos (does anyone know if this is something I can include on my app? where would it go if i can?)
yearbook (photographer) 1 yr
surf club (club photographer) 4 yrs

I also took a photography class at a community college.

Also, does anyone have any ideas of what I can do to improve my ECs? Mine are just kind of random and don't really stand out (with dedication, prestige etc.)

hey well why so pessimistic? lol the stats arent bad at all…teh sat math is a little low but u have a perfect gpa for goodness sakes. hmm they recommend two sat 2s but it is not required. and ur activities, just emphasize the ones that u dedicated urself most to in high school. They like dedication not just liek a year thing so ur tolerance club seems like a great thing to flaunt since uve worked ur way up to an officer position. cant give u a yes or no, its a crapshoot. well gluck, i am scea for stanford…chance me if u can

to many EC’s and many random ones,

why are you so negative about yourself? your stats are great. I’d say you have a good chance. maybe take away some of those mundane ECs.
