Should I fail on purpose?

<p>I am an online student. I have slacked off this whole semester and today is the moment of truth. I basically did nothing for tree months but on the final day to turn in assignments I turned in as much as I could and got really high scores. That said, I couldn't turn in assignments that had passed the due date leaving me at D average. </p>

<p>My school has a Grade Forgiveness Policy. This means that if you fail a course, you can re-take it the next semester and the grade that you get will replace the original F. The second semester will be done during the summer. In my school an F is below a 60%.</p>

<p>Should I purposely fail my semester exams so that I can re-take my classes and get higher marks for my transcript? </p>

<p>I am in my 1st semester of 10th grade and my cumulative GPA is 2.86. </p>
