I am an international first-year applicant. I was registering in the CSS Profile and I got stuck with the following issue:
Even though my parents are self-employed, I am not sure whether I should fill the CSS Business Supplement. My parents’ jobs are quite informal – my mother bakes cakes at home for selling; my father has a small newsstand – and we do not have any official documents concerning them. Should we just estimate the answers for all the questions or is there no need to fill that Supplement?
How else is the income reported?
My parents are not required to fill federal tax income forms. Therefore, it seems that I will send only the CSS Profile and a “non-filler statement”.
